Our Optometrists
We make it a policy to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques to make your visit as comfortable and effective as possible. Dr. Élisabeth FoucaultDr. Élisabeth Foucault, together with two colleagues, started Family Focus Eyecare in 1998. Dr. Foucault obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Université de Montréal in 1995. Soon after her graduation, aided by her fluency in both French and English and her adventerous spirit, she decided to move from her home in Quebec to Saskatoon. Dr. Foucault soon got involved with the Saskatchewan Association of Optometrists, especially in the Continuing Education Program, and in children's vision advocacy. Dr. Foucault is married to Dr. Paul Salisbury, a Saskatoon Optometrist. They have three children: Paulina, Antony and Jack!

Dr. Ken Lypka
We are very proud of the professional and friendly staff at Family Focus Eyecare. We invite you to book your next eye appointment with us or simply drop by to check out our wide variety of eyeglass frames and sunglasses. We try and provide modern eyecare within a neighbourhood atmosphere! I was born in Golden BC, later moved to Saskatchewan and graduated from Balcarres High School in 1979. I was educated at the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Waterloo Ontario in 1985. My Optometric passion is specialty contact lens fittings. I am certified to fit advanced orthokeratology lenses (also called overnight corneal reshaping lenses), synergeyes lenses, and am a member of the Scleral Lens Society. Scleral lens technology allows for the vision of a Rigid lens with the comfort similar to a Soft lens - a great lens for high astigmatism and keratoconus. My wife Val and I have 4 children: Karin, Morgan, Kiefer and Nolan and a beagle named Karver.
